As part of your membership, your Council has access to a variety of training courses. WSALC CEO, Trevor Leggo, offers new/refresher councillor training (which includes chair training) at no additional cost. These currently take place on Zoom throughout the year. If your Council would like face to face training then this can also be arranged; please contact Emily for further details.
Also included within your membership, we can help your Council with creating a business plan. You will have access to the CEO in person on two evenings to assist with preparation and follow up. Please contact Emily for more details.
CLERK NETWORKING EVENT 2025
We are looking forward to seeing some more real-life faces rather than over Zoom in the new year! Join us for a morning of networking where we hope to be joined by a speaker or two and where you can share ideas, raise any concerns, and ask questions to CEO Trevor Leggo. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. We hope lots of you will join us. Further details to be shared in due course but please save the date in your diary!
